Here are three more items to include in the Steering Committee agenda for tomorrow:

Technical writer - The deadline I gave Marty and Rich was yesterday. I have not heard from either of them. I just sent an email to find out what that means.

We have had a request from one member of the ECFTC that the solicitation for the technical writer be an open process. I suggest that we post the statement of work to the entire Member Section list and solicit offers from any member of the Member Section or from anyone else to whom a member has referred the statement of work. We will need to extend the deadline for responses. Would two weeks be reasonable?

There were also some questions about Tom Clarke’s redrafting of the statement of work. I need to get with Tom to get clarifications. I have sent him an email and hope to have a response by the time of the conference call.

OASIS request for an expenditure projection -- I received these requests from Patrick a few weeks ago:

1. A detailed list of activities and the amount of funds that you expect to use in 2004. This should be your best estimate of how you expect to disburse funds by quarter and for what projects.

2. Quarterly MS Report (as described in the RoP). This report describes what the MS has accomplished, lists plans for the next quarter and highlights any issues that staff and/or the Board should be aware of.

Below is my suggested response to the first request:

Quarterly report for OASIS – I ask each TC representative to send me a paragraph on the accomplishments of his or her Technical Committee during the second quarter of the year – April, May and June, what you plan to accomplish by the end of September, and any issues you want to highlight for the OASIS Board or staff. I hope to send our report in by the end of this week.
