Cookies at XML Europe 2004 -- Call for Participation
My first attempt to submit an abstract to this site was rejected
because logging in required cookies. I expect this sort of brain
damage from average web sites and developers, but it's disturbing to
see it at the site for the preeminent XML conference. I would think
the IDEAlliance would know how to properly use HTTP authentication
and REST to design a bookmarkable, linkable, maintainable web site.

I am now considering whether I should withdraw my planned submission
on SAX conformance testing and replace it with one on how to build
privacy respecting web sites that don't need cookies. :-(
