Revision of What are the first steps an Editorial Board should take? from Thu, 2007-01-11 12:22

  • Create Knowledge Base content. Much of this content may already be posted on the OASIS TC public pages and in other TC materials. You may want to draft an outline of pages and assign specific pages to each member of the Editorial Board. You may also want to take existing white papers or tutorials and reuse the content on the Knowledge Base.
  • Review Today pages that were created as part of the skeleton--news, events, products, services, resources, testimonials, forums, blogs. Do we need to add or delete pages to make the site more relevant to the needs of your community?
  • Post links to useful web sites, presentations, case studies, white papers, books, etc. in the Resources section.
  • Decide on your first poll question. ("How far along are you in your implementation of <spec>?" might be a natural place to start.) You can change poll questions as frequently as you like.
