Submitter's message This is the first draft of the time extensions profile as a formal specification, but the third iteration of the proposal. The substantive changes are: - the subject:time-zone and resource:time-zone attributes have been combined into a common entity:time-zone attribute, - a string-from-dayOfWeek function has been added in lieu of attempting to define an equality rule for dayOfWeek values (a dayOfWeek-from-string function has also been added for completeness), and - security considerations and conformance clauses have been added. -- Dr. Steven Legg Document Name : XACML 3.0 Time Extensions Version 1.0 Description This profile defines XACML functions for comparing time values that are not sensitive to the time zone chosen for those values, defines functions for performing arithmetic on date and time values and defines a data-type for representing the day of the week along with functions to operate on values of the data type.
