  Liaison reports
CEFACT:  TM spoke with Anders Grangard (the UBL liaison from CEFACT) 
yesterday.  Discussed work with TBG17, TBG3 and plans for joint meeting 
in Stockholm.  Follow up call in next 2 weeks when Anders has discussed 
issues with working groups and FMG (meeting next week).

Difficulty meeting due to European holidays.

  Subcommittee report: TSC
Working on expanding definitions for Consignment and Shipment as part of 
requirements for Danish Transport group.

ITALIAN AND SPANISH IDD

Ken's work has exposed many errata for the UBL spreadsheets and 
subsequent localization versions.  These will be added to the issues 
list.  None are susbstantive and they do not affect the normative schemas.

UBL TC MEETING IN STOCKHOLM 24-28 SEPTEMBER 2007

  Attendance so far:

     Attending: TM, AS, GKH, MC, KSH, ML, MF , TL
     Not attending: JB, BH, ZR
     UBL TC members present but in CEFACT plenary: TonyC

TM is preparing a proforma notification email that attendees will need 
to send to their CEFACT Head of Delegation.

  Agenda so far (note that the TC will be meeting in plenary all day 
Monday):
     Calculation models (GKH)
     Customization
     Issues for UBL 2.1 and errata for 2.0

PACIFIC ACTION ITEMS FROM MANHATTAN

  Note that the action items from Manhattan have been divided up
  between Pacific and Atlantic calls.

  ACTION: PSC and TSC to provide feedback on UBL 2.0 SBS 2.0:

  ACTION: PSC and TSC to summarize business rules that are (1)
  wanted in UBL but not allowed by [i.e., capable of being
  addressed by] the NDR (e.g., requirement to include one of
  PartyName and PartyIdentifier but not both) and (2) data items
  whose constraints are inherited from another standard (e.g.,
  lengths of data items specified by UNTDED); the rules so
  identified to become candidates for a list of schematron
  assertions "recommended to be included" (final characterization
  TBD).

     Still Pending.

TRACKING ITEM

  We need a decision from the OASIS CLR TC regarding the transfer
  of the code list methodology out of the UBL TC before we can
  begin issuing code list support updates.

OASIS CLR TC will meet tomorrow to vote on the idea of transferring the 
verification methodology to their group.
