Regarding Leave of Absence

TC Member, Since vacation season is upon us, a quick reminder about how Leave of Absence requests work seems appropriate. There are two key points: 1) A Leave of Absence must be requested at least 7 days in advance, and cannot exceed 45 days in duration. 2) During a Leave of Absence, a Voting Member shall not have voting rights or participation obligations in the TC or its Subcommittees. The OASIS TC Admin folks restate this as " you can show up but you can't be listed as having attended, you can't vote, and you can't participate. " The reference for this is Section 1.6 of the OASIS TC Procedures. https://www.oasis-open.org/policies-guidelines/tc-process-2017-05-26#leavesAbsence So please plan accordingly if you need a Leave of Absence.
