Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Commented: (OFFICE-2422) 19.199 draw:namewith or without spaces

Patrick Durusau commented on OFFICE-2422:
-----------------------------------------
I don't disagree with the solution but given the nature of the restriction, can we remove it? ODF 1.1 applications will reject draw:name attributes for equations with spaces in them.
Note that we could make the same argument about draw:name for draw:page, which is the only one to require the name to be unique in the document instance.

> 19.199 lists the elements that can take a draw:name attribute
> "The draw:name attribute specifies a name by which a <...> element can be referenced. "
> Only 19.199.8 has an extra clause
> "The draw:name attribute specifies a name by which a <draw:equation> element can be referenced. The name shall not contain spaces."
> Is this intentional ? Does this mean that the other elements can have a draw:name attribute containing a value with a space in it ?
