Subject: RE: [docbook-apps] DocBook editor
|
You really don’t want to go with MS Word. OpenOffice is OK but
it’s not a wysiwyg editor. If that’s what you want, the low cost options are
Serna (by Syntext) and Oxygen9. Of course, there’s Xmetal at a higher price. George.. From:
lars.bjerges@swedbank.se [mailto:lars.bjerges@swedbank.se] Hi. I
have been using XMLmind XXE as a DocBook editor and it works fine. However
I have been asked to investigate the possibility to use MS Word as an
alternative and this is the reason for ma inquiry: Does
anybody have any experience in using MS Word as a DocBook editor? Does
it work? Is
it easy or hard to set up? Is
it easy or hard to use? Thank
you in advance. Lars
