Open items about subject scheme; how best to proceed

We have several open items on the agenda about subject scheme, but only a few TC members have actively participated in the discussion so far. I'm wondering how we can be most effective ... I see the following choices; what do you think would be most productive? MarkMail, a mailing-list search service launched by MarkLogic in 2007 as a showcase for its XML full-text search engine, indexed these OASIS archives for many years. It was retired in 2024 following MarkLogic’s acquisition by Progress Software; markmail.org is offline and any markmail.org links in archived messages are no longer functional.
