After XQuery, are we done?

Is XQuery the 'last great project of XML standardization'? Is there 
anything big on the horizon that still needs to be done?

FWIW, after XQuery 1.0, I do think we have plenty of work going forward 
on updates, grouping, full text, and the like in XQuery.
