errata for errata?

XML Schema datatypes errata.

E2-18 says - is not a valid range [-+] or [+-] are invalid.
E2-43 (that is, later than E2-18) - explicitely uses [+-] to specify simpleType
definition for integer.

Which one of these two entries is more correct?
