Review of Pacific call minutes

No comments.

UBL 2.1 MODELS & SCHEMAS

The issue this week is whether to keep incorrect dictionary

entry names (DENs) from 2.0 or fix them in 2.1.  The decision

does not affect UBL element names or backward compatibility

with 2.0 instances.

In favor of keeping the 2.0 names:

- We maintain one DEN per concept and establish the principle

that a DEN will always remain the same going forward

In favor of correcting the faulty names in 2.1:

- 2.1 is making other changes to fix things in 2.0 (including

moving all code lists out into external genericode files)

- Changing a DEN belongs conceptually to the class of

activities that includes refining the definitions, and we

continue to do that

AGREED that we will adopt the corrected DENs and provide a map

in the documentation.

AGREED that all the 2.1 DENs will be reviewed for consistency

as part of the first public review and that appropriate changes

will be made for PRD2.

AGREED that the last round of correspondence between GKH and

PLB should be enough for Arianna to finish making changes to

the models.

ACTION: JB to inform Arianna.

UBL 2.1 DOCUMENTATION

See Pacific minutes; have received additional art from GKH.

AS: Need to review the section relating to TSC.

ACTION: JB to send AS a PDF of the incomplete draft.

UBL 2 XADES PROFILE

Andrea indicates probable completion of testing samples this

week.

NDR CHECK (NIST TOOL)

Nothing this week.

NDR 2.1

Tracking item: we will have to review the NDR 2.1 checklist to

look for possible differences between the present rules and the

ones arrived at in Montreal.

UBL 2.0 IDD VOL. 2 (PORTUGUESE)

ACTION (6/30): JB to ask Roberto if he could help with the

structural review.

2010 UBL TC F2F MEETING SCHEDULE

9-13 August 2010 (the week following Balisage 2010) in

Montreal: http://www.balisage.net/

AS: Will be at the meeting!

To register at the Europa (CAD 109/night): Call François at

514 861 8805.  NOTE that the hotel knows our meeting as the

"second week Balisage meeting," so all references should be

to this rather than to UBL.  NOTE ALSO that we qualify for

the conference "4 for 3" deal (stay three nights, get the

fourth free).

IMPORTANT: Anyone planning to attend should make

reservations immediately, especially if planning to arrive

early -- the hotel may sell out for Balisage.

AGENDA: Shifting as our schedule slips, but will still be

devoted largely to resolving issues from early PRD1

feedback.  Known participants: JB, GKH, MC, AS; hoping for

MG; others by phone.

SCHEDULE: See last week's Atlantic minutes for plenary call

times.  We almost always schedule additional calls during

the week and often change the schedule on the fly, so

interested parties should check mail daily for updates.

February 2011: A meeting in Lima is under discussion.

The Peruvian Internal Revenue Service has confirmed

their willingness to host the UBL TC meeting and UBL

International conference in Lima.  We need to formally

decide on this and set dates.

All the UBL International principals are on board, and we're

thinking now about putting this in the context of a larger

ecommerce conference.

ACTION (6/16): KB to circulate some initial ideas for

further discussion.

Pending.

May 2011: Meeting in Ankara under discussion.  Initial response

is positive, but we need to work on the details.
