The UN/CEFACT CodeList_CurrencyCode_ISO_7_04.xsd file with documentation has:

Unless I hear differently, I'll put the documentation of the new
files into the ccts: namespace rather than no namespace. This looks
to me like another oversight in UBL 1.0.
Please remember these XSD files are *not* in any way part of the
normative XSD files of UBL 2.0 ... these are only conveniences made
available to users of XSD who don't wish to use genericode.
