UN/CEFACT DEVELOPMENT

   JB: It was announced yesterday that Eurofer (the European steel
   industry) is terminating financial support for Edifer,
   "including the full time secretariat and the activites related
   to the UN/CEFACT forum."  This means that UN/CEFACT TBG1 will
   be looking for new leadership.  UBL-TBG1 collaboration
   continues, however, and the meeting next week of the UBL-TBG1
   group at CENELEC in Brussels will take place as scheduled.

SUPPORT PACKAGE

   We reviewed the scheduling reported in the minutes of this
   week's Pacific TC call.

   AGREED per the Pacific call to take what we've received for the
   IDD by March and publish IDD 2.0 incrementally.

   AGREED to the plan detailed in the Pacific call for publishing
   a "support page" rather than a "support package" and (if
   possible) recycling the SSC page for this purpose.

NDR SCHEDULING

   As neither of the NDR editors was available for the call, this
   item is held over for the Atlantic TC meeting 24 January.

MEETING CALENDAR

   AGREED that we will skip TC calls next week and resume our
   regular schedule the week of 22 January.
