Tim,
I hope we just have a terminology misunderstanding
here.
CCTS only allows you to create BBIEs that are based
on uDTs or qDTs.
If
the BBIE is created from a qDT, then the qDT must be in the qDT spreadsheet and
the qDT schema module.

sorry it wasn't as clear as i thought (i had to check it again
myself!)
i meant that those code types in RED are not be actually used
for any BBIEs. Where BBIEs have these names they use unqualified code
types.
For example, AllowanceChargeReasonCode is not a qualified data
type. Where we use AllowanceChargeReasonCode as a BBIE it is just an
unqualified "CodeType".
Perhaps it would have been simpler to just delete
the RED fonted entries (which we should do in EDIFIX) - its just i wanted to
show what was being dropped.

All qualified data types must be based on a unqualified data type per CCTS
