Notes UBL Pacific Meetings 1st March 2005

1.  Calendar updates - None

2. Subcommittee reports

 Saito-san:  Holding regular meetings in Japan.  Next meeting in Tokoyo 
is March 17.

 Micah - making progress.  Ken is making Xpath calls.  Micah is working on
        formalizing the document.

3. UBL Schema generation
Tim - Software subcommittee pilot - the production of schemas for 
development of
       schemas for UBL 1.1.  Produce the most appropriate spreadsheet of 
those
       changes -and how much can be produced in EDIFIX and how much will 
require
       manual manipulation.

4. Content work session
As we had the presence of Saito-san it was suggested we concentrate of 
the JPLSC ECALGA requirements and use the session to get further 
clarification of the requirements.  The following points were discussed:

* ConsignmentIndicator - UBL 1.1 will support consignment but not using
      'ConsignmentIndicator'.

* SupplyID - Situation where the order contains only a placeholder and 
another
      transaction where the goods are fully described. Saito-san will 
provide more
      information in 2-3 weeks.

* ContractConditionID or ContractConditionCode - Recommendation agree to 
item 3.

* ItemName - ItemName is essential to the JPLSC. 

The remaining items and the revised process model will be discussed next 
week.
