Mark,
I took the train from the airport to central station in city. Just go straight out of baggage area to the ticket office. Leaves every 20 minutes from track #2. There are also buses, but the train was easy enough.
When you exit the central station, proceed to the right and the Marriott is about three blocks. I have mostly been walking to the meeting. Its a good mile, but you can vary the route to keep it interesting. Another alternative is to rent a bicycle. You can do that at the central station or just across the closest bridge to the Marriot.
There is a charter bus tour leaving from Marriott saturday and sunday mornings.
