Yes getting the calculation models updated needs to be done. 

If we could extend this with models from the ERP systems it would be beneficial to a lot of people.

Yes, the "calculation model" is an important aspect of documenting a 
customization of OASIS UBL in a particular context.  UBL requires 
that all fields in a document be pre-calculated according to the 
calculation model so that the recipient has no obligation of any kind 
to calculate any values on their own ... only the sender knows for 
sure which calculation model they intended to use for all fields.

But the committee itself hasn't yet published "recommended" 
calculation
 models.  Some of the definitions imply a calculation 
model that for interoperability purposes all users would follow.  But 
it is up to an open-edi user community (as defined by ISO/IEC 14662 - 
see 
http://docs.oasis-open.org/ubl/cs1-UBL-2.1/UBL-2.1.html#A-OPEN-EDIof 
the UBL 2.1 specification) to create their open-edi configuration 
with the expected calculation model.  You can see from diagram H.2

that the UBL specification provides the business objects and syntax, 
but not the filling of the information bundles by the different roles 
in different scenarios.

We on the committee have used that noun for a while now in
 UBL and 
this page hasn't been updated in four years for want of groups to 
document their calculation models for candidate users to choose from 
(or to modify for their own uses):

Perhaps it is time to revive work on that page and revamp it to bring
