Thanks for mentioning your observations, as I missed yesterday’s YAML call. However, my impressions of today’s emails alone indicate a there are important issues
 still unresolved and a lack of consensus on key issues. 

 

That said; the preliminary comment response that I provided was
simply a suggested starting point. However, in my experience it is wise for TCs to limit their comment responses, especially when they cover complex issues that are not 100% resolved, defined, and approved by the TC-at-large, to a
 simple acknowledgement with a fairly open-ended and simple response. This ensures that the TC is not unnecessarily  constrained regarding its future actions.

 

In short, at this stage, I see no reason for the TC to respond with more than an acknowledgment, an statement that this
 area is under current investigation, and an invitation for further input and use cases.

Thanks for collecting the comments and draft response.

 

I'd like to mention that during yesterday's simple profile WG meeting, workflow issue has already been solved with the artifact approach. Some minor details are not decided yet such as the keyname and semantic for workflow artifact implementation, but it
 will not be a problem. I'm working with Chris to work out the final draft.

So we may need to modify the response of the two workflow comments from me and Oliver.
