The usage is centered around a joint FAA and National Weather Service R&D effort to share and distribute weather data in the Continental United States (CONUS), where ebXML RegRep plays a key role with respect to discovery of datasets, services, and sensors. The ebXML components used consist of a RegRep 4 server and a RegRep 4 client library, both of which are inter-operable with each other and both have been independently developed.
