OpenC2 Happenings for week of 19 August 2019

ITEM ONE: In case you missed it: OASIS announced the OpenC2 Committee Specifications on Monday August 5th. We now have a v1.0 of all three specifications, please share with your colleagues and encourage adoption. ITEM TWO:Â Monthly TC meeting this week. This is our first TC meeting since the three Committee Specifications were published by OASIS. An opportunity to talk about what's next.

ITEM THREE:ÂÂWith the impending departure of Jason Romano, nominations are open for a new Language Subcommittee co-chair. The new co-chair will complete Jason's term, which runs through March 2020. The election of a new co-chair will be held during the September 18th TC meeting. Please contact either of the TC co-chairs to nominate a candidate or discuss your interest in the co-chair position.ÂITEM FOUR: A call for post 1.0 Participation: Version 1.0 of the specifications have been posted, approved and announced, so let's move forward.
Do you have a product or service that's a candidate for producing / consuming OpenC2 commands and responses? Please consider sharing your Custom Actuator Profile or Proposed Committee specification. ÂPlease contact the AP-SC co-chairs (Alex Everett and Dave Kemp). Â

HTTPS is ubiquitous, but is there a message fabric that is more suitable for your cyber-ecosystem? Please consider sharing your proposed key management, transport solution and other implementation considerations with the IC-SC co-chairs (Dave Lemire and Michelle Barry)

Do you need OpenC2 to do more? Do you have a use case or scenario that we have not considered? Please share you use cases with the L-SC co-chairs (Jason Romano and Toby Considine)
ITEM FIVE:Â OASIS will be running a Borderless Cyber conference in Washington, D.C., 8-10 October at the National Press Club. This conference includes an Integrated Cyber track for the IACD community.ÂMeetings This Week:
