It unanimously agreed to keep the bibliography configuration specification unchanged. Discussion of Work Package 9 Events and Scripts ----------------------------------------------- The TC discussed the proposals posted in http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/office/200310/msg00037.html. The TC agreed to change the specification of <office:script> as suggested in the proposal, but to add a "script:language" attribute to the <office:script> element that contains the scripting language that is used for the content of the element. That is, the <office:script> element will be replaced by an <office:scripts> element that contains an arbitrary number of (new) <office:script> elements. This element has an attribute "script:language", and can have arbitrary script language dependent content. The value of the "script:language" attribute is a namespaced name. The TC also discussed the <script:event> element. It unanimously agreed - to add an "xlink:href" attribute to the element for specifying a macro by an URL, - to remove the "script:location" attribute, - to keep the "script:macro-name" attribute for specifying the macro by a name, - to keep the "script:language" attribute, but to change its value into a namespaced name with the same semantic as for the <office:script> element, and - to turn the value of the "script:event-name" attribute into a namespaced name. That is, the <script:event> element now has the attributes "script:language", "script:event-name", "script:macro-name" and "xlink:href". "script:langauge" and "script:event-name" both take a namespaced name as value. The TC further discussed what namespace to use or recommend for the event names, i.e. the values of the "script:event-name" attribute. It especially discussed whether HTML or DOM based event names are more appropriate: David Faure will prepare a proposal regarding this issue. New Action Items ---------------- - David Faure: proposal for namespace to use for event names. Michael Brauer OASIS Open Office XML format TC chair
