LegalXML Elections

Hi,

Based on tracking old emails, it seems that the three at-large positions on
the Steering Committee are about to expire. Yet it appears that at-large
elections occurred in May and Nov/Dec 2005 as well. Was the first election
(May 2005) reflecting the representatives from the LegalXML technical
Committees? We currently have 9 SC members (yet one is not active but still
is listed on governance page, which I will remove). We currently have 4
active TCs, so the 3 at-large should make a total of 7 SC members based on
your Rules of Procedures, but I suspect the 8th member can remain until May
as some LegalXML TC have closed during this period, I'll check with Scott.

I propose that you schedule a special call to coordinate a call for
nominees. I'd also be grateful if you would generate a schedule for all
elections (TC reps) and at-large elections for the next year.

The length of terms will become a part of the new MS Policy, but we need a
schedule that will conform to the RoP as it is now stated until the final
Member Section Policy is approved.
