As I said before, the actual contracting would be done by OASIS, and 
would take into account your recommendation. I suggest that you first 
put together a job description and qualifications. I can review this for 
you if you'd like; I have some experience with tech writers. If you have 
somebody in mind already we would be happy to talk with them based on 
the job description that you put together.

If the person you have in mind isn't available or interested (or even if 
he is; we may want to look at other candidates also) we can advertise 
for additional candidates. I suspect that the job would require some 
amount of domain expertise; that would have some bearing on where we 
advertise.

After interviewing etc. a recommendation could be made to Patrick, who 
will make the final decision. Because the contract would be with OASIS 
(the legal entity), OASIS management must be involved in and make the 
final decision; the person will be a contractor of OASIS.
