RE: Status on GML SImple Features vote and update

Late last week, the vote to approve the use of GML Simple Features for use 
in OASIS standards was approved. Thanks to the GIS SC for voting.

 

The corrigendum to the current OGC GML Simple Features standard has been 
written. The current editors of the standard have commented and a final 
corrigendum will be issued this week. If anyone in the EM TC would like to 
review the corrigendum, please let me know. In the OGC, a corrigendum is a rapid 
mechanism for making small changes and corrections to an existing OGC 
standard.
