FYI: OGC is seeking information on Sensors and Decision fusion
As many of your organizations deal with sensors and
related fusion topics, thought this might be of interest.
The OGC has put out a Call for Industry Input on
multi-INT Decision Fusion. The details are available on the OGC
site:

http://www.opengeospatial.org/standards/requests/67

Decision Fusion, as described in the RFI, provides
analysts an environment of interoperable services for situation assessment,
impact assessment and decision support, based on information from multiple
sensors and databases, e.g., multi-INT sources. The study includes recent
advances such as social networking for decision fusion. Though the focus of the
study is on military intelligence (“INT”), decision fusion is equally relevant
to business intelligence, urban planning, and many other domains.

Note, This Request is scheduled to close on 11 June
2010
