FEMA CAP 1.1 Announcement

Friends,

Please see the attached announcement that the FEMA/IPAWS program has
made.  It makes public their support for CAP 1.1.  Take a few
minutes to pat your selves on the back and reflect on where we have
been.  It is great news that FEMA has made this statement. 
They list OASIS, along with the NWS, FCC, DHS S&T and IAEM as their
partners.  Many of us have been working toward this since the Nov
30, 2001 stakeholder meeting and the beginnings of the Partnership for
Public Warning.  It is truly rewarding to see this
announcement.  

Thank you all for your hard work and continued support for Standards to
improve interoperability for emergency management.
