Technologies for Critical Incident Preparedness Conference
There was an announcement at the EIC meeting yesterday that the DM program is going to host an interoperability demonstration at the Technologies for Critical Incident Preparedness in Atlanta on Wed. Sept 6. The venue will be the Hyatt Regency Atlanta 265 Peachtree Street NE, Atlanta, Georgia, USA 30301. DM has been given a 90 minute slot to demonstrate interoperability for the CAP and EDXL standards. We would like to invite any vendors who may want to participate to be part of the demonstration. The vendor application, service or device must be capable of using CAP and/or EDXL standards. DM will cover the cost of the demonstration only. DM WILL NOT PAY for the vendor, travel, conference registration fees or any other cost incurred by the vendor. Participating vendors will not be named in the conference brochure nor does participation mean any type of relationship or endorsement by DHS or the DM program. Vendors will be required to demonstrate CAP/EDXL capabilities prior to the demonstration. DM reserves the right to limit the number of vendors participating and may select vendors to highlight multiple CAP/EDXL uses. Vendors are permitted to bring their marketing materials for distribution to the demonstration attendees who express an interest in the vendor offerings. Interested vendors can contact me at or 202-254-6774. Elysa Jones, Chari OASIS EM-TC Engineering Program Manager Warning Systems, Inc. 256-880-8702 x102
