You're correct Paul. However, even the WYSIWYG tools
          mentioned do not give you true WYSIWYGness like Word will give
          you. Its more of a rough approximation. It because of the
          nature of divorcing the content from the style (especially in

But if rough approximation is good enough then the tools
          that folks have suggested will get you there. Eclipse probably

    Im giving Oxygen a go, found it a bit difficult to use at first but
    now getting the hang of it.

    One advantage is does seem to have is not only can you work with
    docbook xml its also setup to generate html/pdf ecetera form the xml
    with minium effort.
