I see, but I thought that the stylesheets were working that around, like
in param.xsl:

<xsl:param name="title.margin.left">
  <xsl:choose>
    <xsl:when test="$passivetex.extensions != 0">0pt</xsl:when>
    <xsl:otherwise>-4pc</xsl:otherwise>
  </xsl:choose>
</xsl:param>

Doesn't it work, or was it not intended for that purpose?
