Appendix C content

Please look at the content of appendix C “Non-normative content: Consider the following questions: What content is critical to the spec?
Are there topics that should be removed?
Is there content that needs to be updated?
How should this content be reorganized if we are considering moving the example topics from chapter 8 (Configuration) and the patterns topics from chapter 9 (Coding practices)?
We could group things differently in this one appendix – or we could have multiple non-normative appendixes.
