Please initiate formation of DITA Technical Communication Subcommittee

At the DITA TC 
meeting on 21 July (http://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/dita/event.php?event_id=22264) 
the DITA TC approved the formation of a new DITA Technical Communication SC to 
manage the tech comm specializations moving forward. The minutes of the meeting

JoAnn Hackos and I 
are willing to co-chair this new SC. We have a team of interested members who 
will join the DITA TC and the new tech comm SC as soon as we are 
ready.
